3/30/2017: You have been approved to take the ASWB National Social Worker Examination at the following level: CLINICAL authorization has been sent to ASWB. THIS AUTHORIZATION IS GOOD FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS. Letters will no longer be issued. You are now authorized to register and pay for the exam by either calling at 1-800-225-6880 or online at www.aswb.org. The ASWB handbook may be found at www.aswb.org. Your name on this application checklist approval and your driver’s license must be the same. If the name does not match, you will not be allowed to take the exam. Submit any name or address changes to dspscredjointbd@wisconsin.gov . If all other requirements are complete, your credential will be issued by DSPS upon notification from ASWB of your passing score. This process takes 2-3 weeks. A passing score of 70 is required. If you fail, a notation will be made on your checklist 2-3 weeks after notification from ASWB. You may retake the exam after waiting 90 days between each failed exam
