1/6/2014 update: Congratulations! You have been issued your WI license. Your license number should be on our website at this time or within one hour. Our website is http://dsps.wi.gov, then click on the “Online Services” tab, then click on “License Lookup”. The website is an official verification that you have been issued your license.
12/17/13: Congratulations! You can be issued a permanent license immediately. However, if issued before 1/6/14, your license will expire on 2/28/14 (this is when all RN licenses expire) requiring you to pay an additional fee ($86) to renew. If you want your license issued now (prior to 1/6/14), please email dspscrednursing@wi.gov Otherwise, your license will be issued on 1/6/14.

8/29/13: You have been made eligible to test for NCLEX. You will receive scheduling information from the testing company within a few days via the email address you provided to the testing company (or through US mail if you did not provide an email address). PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NAME ON YOUR ATT MATCHES THE ID YOU WILL BE USING AT THE TESTING SITE (I.E. NAME ON YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE). IF YOUR NAME DOES NOT MATCH, PLEASE EMAIL THE CORRECTIONS TO THE BOARD OF NURSING AT DSPSCREDNursing@wi.gov. Posting of results on your checklist may take up to 20 business days from the date of your exam even if you received “unofficial/express” results from the testing company. You will receive an e-mail each time your checklist is updated.
